Corintech and Sister Company Lascar Electronics Open New 15,000 sqft Warehouse in Hong Kong.

Corintech Ltd and Lascar Electronics, two global electronics companies, are pleased to announce the official opening of their new Far East warehouse in Hong Kong. Colleagues from all departments visited the warehouse in the first week of June for the opening ceremony to witness Dean James, Managing Director at Corintech (HK) Ltd & Lascar Electronics, cut the ribbon on the 15,000 sqft facility.

The warehouse team had been working tirelessly in the weeks leading up to the opening to make the lengthy and complicated transition into the new space seamless. They were rewarded with drinks, food, and the opportunity to get to know new colleagues after what has been a difficult year for so many. Following a tour of the warehousing facilities led by Larry Chan, the HK Group Quality Manager, Dean briefed the team with the motivation behind moving to the new location and how the warehouse will contribute to the continued growth of both Corintech and Lascar.

Corintech and Lascar have had manufacturing and procurement facilities in Kowloon, Hong Kong for the past ten years, through which their Far East, high-volume electronics manufacturing and quality control is managed. The Hong Kong site also has its own purchasing and logistics teams available to ensure low-cost, high-quality components are sourced on-time-in-full.

The warehouse will serve both Corintech and Lascar’s Far East expansion plans, while also providing more space for the engineering team based in the Hong Kong office. The larger space will allow Corintech and Lascar to manage their operations more efficiently, streamlining their manufacturing processes and ensuring they can continue to provide customers with high-quality products as well as the outstanding level of service those customers have come to expect.

Through supporting the production of ventilators at the beginning of the pandemic, to helping ensure the global vaccine rollout continues to go as planned with the companies’ vaccine monitoring products being used by healthcare centres worldwide, the warehouse opening is a result of the hard work and commitment of the UK, Far East and US teams over the past 12 months.
