EasyLog WiFi Sensors
What are EasyLog WiFi Data Logging Sensors?
The EasyLog WiFi data logging sensors were designed to revolutionise the way environmental data is monitored and logged. The EL-WiFi sensors have a variety of measurement capabilities: Temperature and humidity, current and voltage through to light, wind speed and sound pressure level. They are a low cost solution which connect directly into an existing WiFi network.
Each EL-WiFi Sensor can be individually programmed with custom settings such as: WiFi network settings, Sensor name, sample and transmission rate and high and low alarms. Once setup, the EL-WiFi sensors can be placed into an environment within range of the WiFi network to wirelessly stream data to PC or EL-WiFi-Cloud.*
Any product that calls itself ‘WiFi’ must comply to the IEEE 802.11 standards that govern wireless networking transmission methods. All the EL-WiFi sensors are 802.11b compliant.
The EasyLog range of sensors are superior to other products that are only wireless. A wireless device will only communicate with its base unit whereas WiFi products will communicate with any WiFi router available worldwide.
The EasyLog WiFi Range
The EasyLog WiFi range of sensors currently consists of: EL-WiFi-TH (Temperature and Humidity Sensor), EL-WiFi-TH+ (High Accuracy Temperature and Humidity Sensor), EL-WiFi-TP (Temperature Thermister Probe Sensor), EL-WiFi-TP+ (High Accuracy Temperature Thermister Probe Sensor), EL-WiFi-T (Temperature Sensor), EL-WiFi-T+ (High Accuracy Temperature Sensor), EL-WiFi-TC (Temperature Thermocouple Probe Sensor), EL-WiFi-Alert (Audible and Visual Alarm).

What makes us different?
- Excellent value for money - prices start from £89.95 (+VAT)
- Easy to use FREE software - most companies say their software is easy but ours really is. The EL-WiFi software is available to download here!
- NO NEED for additional hardware - If you have a WiFi router and know the password you’ll be able to set-up and use our sensors.
- Robust design - we think our products look and feel better than anything else on the market. They are also considerably more durable than competitor products and have been vigorously tested to meet the highest standards.
- LCD - not many WiFi sensors have an LCD. We think it’s useful being able to read data straight off the sensor as well as via the software.
- Range - our sensors have a unique range detection method built into the LCD display so you can see if you have moved the unit out of range of the router.
- Rechargeable - all other sensors have a limited battery life. Our sensors have a rechargeable battery so can be used again and again for many years.
- FREE Updates - Free Sensor Firmware and Software updates
- Online Cloud Service - Coming Mid 2013 - Email and SMS alerts
How is data transferred to the PC?
The data is streamed directly from the EL-WiFi sensor to the network router which then forwards the data onto the PC, any data coming from the PC to the Sensors also goes via the router.

The typical home user will simply buy however many EL-WiFi sensors they require, place them around their home and use their existing WiFi router. View basic network diagram. In some instances there may be the requirement to monitor a large amount of sensors on a wider scale eg, large properties or businesses with warehouses. In this case the best solution would be to use an extended WiFi network with the aid of WiFi extenders. View extended network diagram.
