Despatch Assistant
A conscientious and diligent person required to work within a small team in our Despatch Department. You will be responsible for counting small components, packing in specific boxes and handling all paperwork. Some computer work is required and full training will be given.
Quality Assurance Engineer
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for all of the company’s activities relating to the supply of quality products and services to our customers.
The role
- Liaison with sub-contractors, suppliers and customers in the UK, Europe and the Far East.
- First off inspection, pre-production, line checks and preparation of inspection reports.
- Authority to stop batch/line production pending investigation of quality issues/non-conforming product.
- ISO 9001:2008 conformance in line with Quality processes and procedures.
- Design, introduction and maintenance of all necessary paperwork and inspection records, including scrap, as required.
- Plan workload in line with production requirements in liaison with area supervisors.
- Adhere to normal company procedures in line with good manufacturing and engineering practices.
- Promote and develop quality awareness and improvement activities.
The Person
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- hold an electronics degree, HND or equivalent.
- be able to work on your own initiative when required and be able to deputise for the Quality Manager as required.
Sales Engineers
Two excellent opportunities have arisen for a Sales Engineer (£25-£34K) and an Engineer wishing to move in to a sales position (£18-£25K). The roles are versatile and hold fantastic opportunities for the right person.
The role
- Successfully manage and develop an already established client base across the UK
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Closely liaise with engineering teams to ensure client specifications are fully met
- Office based and travelling to pre-arranged appointments
The Person
- Looking to progress their career within a leading organisation
- To have an engineering or science based degree
- Some experience in customer facing sales would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
Senior Electronics Design Engineer
Ideally you will have
- Significant experience in a design and development role with strong Digital/Microprocessor design capabilities
- The ability to design products to customer specifications and to meet industry standards (EMC etc.) is essential
- Good Firmware development skills in C
- Experience in any of the following may set you apart from the competition, PC application development, ARM based microprocessors, Wireless communications (WiFi/Zigbee/Bluetooth/ RFID), Analogue and Power electronics).
